Chicago band Twin Peaks first burst on the scene with 2013’s Sunken, and the band members been reinventing themselves ever since. Sunken was a colourful, low-fi outing, whereas the band introduced polish and nuance to 2014’s Wild Onion. With the newest LP, 2016’s Down In Heaven, the Chicago staple balances power and intimacy with ease, and it makes them a pleasure to look at. In partnership with Goose Island Beer Firm, we invited Twin Peaks to our third and last Chicago Session. Within the video above, the band performs “Holding Roses” from Down In Heaven and talks about their favourite rising artists from Chicago’s music scene.
