Based on Selection, Ridley Scott is at the moment in talks to direct Disney’s The Merlin Saga, a film based mostly on T.A. Barron’s books in regards to the younger magic man who would finally turned a well-known magic man. Selection’s sources say deal hasn’t been made but, however they suppose it’ll be Scott’s subsequent film if the deal does occur. Apparently, The Merlin Saga is only one of two Merlin motion pictures that Disney is growing, and Scott was reportedly approached for each. The opposite one is a live-action model of The Sword In The Stone, which has been within the works since at the least 2015 and has Recreation Of Thrones author Bryan Cogman connected to deal with the script—or at the least he was connected in 2015.
As for this Merlin film, we beforehand reported that Lord Of The Rings screenwriter Philippa Boyens was writing that script.
