Persevering with the development of hiring barely over-qualified actors to seem in (sometimes) one-off villain roles, Marvel is reportedly in talks with Ben Mendelsohn to play the dangerous man in Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel film. That’s in response to Selection, which says Mendelsohn will probably be the “important antagonist”—however we don’t know something particular past that. We beforehand reported that the villains in Captain Marvel would be the Skrulls, although, so Mendelsohn would most likely be enjoying the chief of these green-skinned, lumpy-chinned, alien bastards if he does get this half. Supposedly, Boden and Fleck needed Mendelsohn for this villain function as quickly as they began plotting the Captain Marvel film, so whoever this baddie is, he’ll most likely be well-tuned to Mendelsohn’s villainous abilities.
Captain Marvel is ready to come back out in March of 2019, with Brie Larson starring as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Samuel L. Jackson lastly strapping the eyepatch again on to play Nick Fury once more.
